Kaunas Piano Trio

Founded in 2011, the Kaunas Piano Trio has organized nearly 300 concerts during its existence, becoming an active participant in the cultural life of Kaunas city and region, earning the audience's sympathy through its activities. The search for new repertoire, conceptual programs, collaboration with artists of other genres, and innovative educational projects - this is the creative strategy and mission of this ensemble. The performances of the Kaunas Piano Trio have been recognized in international competitions in Lithuania, Poland, and Italy. The ensemble has performed as a soloist with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, VDU Chamber Orchestra, Kaunas Vocal Ensemble "Acusto", Kaunas State Choir, Heidelberg University Chamber Choir "Camerata Carolina", under the direction of conductors: Modestas Barkauskas, Karolis Variakojis, Robertas Šervenikas, Franz Wassermann. The Kaunas Piano Trio is annually invited to perform at the prestigious Pažaislis Music Festival, has participated in festivals such as "Iš arti" (Up Close), "Dainavos šalies muzikos festivalis" (Dainava Country Music Festival), "X Tytuvėnų festivalis" (10th Tytuvėnai Festival), Kristupas Summer Festival, II Lithuanian Chamber Music Festival, etc., and has performed in Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, the Netherlands, Italy, and Germany.
